What we collect and why

Table reservations

When you request a table we collect your name, phone number, email address, the date, time and number of guests, and anything you write in the special requests field. We use this only to arrange and confirm your booking. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before providing a service.

Contact form

When you write to us we collect your name, email address, phone number, chosen topic and your message, and use them only to answer you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries.

Server logs

Our hosting provider records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These logs help keep the site secure and working, and are kept for a short period by the provider.

Where your data goes

Form submissions are emailed to us at info@nechi.ee and stored inside this website so we can find your booking again. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have separately asked us to.

We use these third-party services, which process some data on our behalf:

• Zone Media OÜ (Estonia) — hosting and email.
• Google reCAPTCHA — protects the forms from automated spam. Google receives technical data about your visit to the pages with forms. See the Google Privacy Policy.
• Google Maps — the map on our reservations page is loaded from Google, which receives your IP address when the map loads.

How long we keep it

Reservation and contact messages are kept for up to 12 months, so we can look up a past booking or continue a conversation, and are then deleted. If you ask us to delete your data sooner, we will.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or restrict how we use it. You can also object to our use of it. Write to info@nechi.ee and we will respond within one month.

If you believe we have handled your data wrongly, you may complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, www.aki.ee).

Cookies

This website does not use cookies for advertising or analytics. Google reCAPTCHA and Google Maps may set their own cookies when you visit a page that uses them.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
